We are currently looking for Clinical Psychologists / Psychologists to join our team as an associate on a part-time or full-time basis.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic psychologists to join our practice. Whether you are a newly qualified psychologist or have many years of clinical experience, if the prospect of working for yourself without the stress of managing the business side of private practice appeals to you, then you might be the right person for us!
The clinical work involves seeing clients over a wide age range from children, adolescents, adults and older adults, with an array of psychological and psycho-social difficulties. There is a diverse referral stream from both GP’s, Psychiatrists, and other referral sources such as DVA, Workers Compensation and schools. We also offer assessments for third parties such as NDIS, MAIB, Workcover and private schools.
What We Offer
Launceston Therapy Clinic offers a pleasant working environment in newly renovated offices and with administration support.
The practice has a collegial group practice environment, whilst you retain autonomy in your own practice with a very attractive remuneration agreement. Due to a healthy waiting list of new referrals, you will experience the benefit of having a full diary of clients from the start.
We are also able to assist with people working towards Clinical Psychology endorsement, as we can offer Psychology Board of Australia approved supervision with several highly experienced senior clinicians in the practice, whilst having access to a wide range of cases to build up your experience in the clinical field.
The city of Launceston is located in Northern Tasmania and offers an enviable lifestyle with regards to cost of living, safety, housing affordability, access to services, cultural experiences, private and public schools as well as a University. There are wonderful National Parks and beaches available within a 90 minute drive from Launceston, whilst Melbourne and Sydney are only a 1 -2 hours flight away.
